Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team on a temporary basis in Manassas, Virginia. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems, including structured cabling, security systems, audio-visual equipment, and other related technologies. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with hands-on experience and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and terminate low voltage wiring and equipment, such as data, voice, and video systems.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on low voltage installations.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and local codes.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to meet project deadlines and specifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Low Voltage Technician or in a similar role.
• A+ certification or any other vendor-specific certification (e.g., BICSI, CompTIA, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Pay Range: $25 - $40 per hour

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Datacenter Specialist at My Technology Data located in Ashburn, VA. The Datacenter Specialist will be responsible for Data Center Operations, Troubleshooting, Infrastructure management, Technical Support, and overseeing Data Centers.

Qualifications

• Data Center Operations and Infrastructure management skills
• Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills
• Experience in managing and overseeing Data Centers
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of networking and IT infrastructure
• Relevant certifications in Data Center management is a plus
• Vendor Certifications or related field is a plus
• Experience working with fiber and coppers
• Experience working on production environment
• Ability to use ladders and lift up to 50 LBS
• Be able to run cables, terminate 
• Be able to work in team environment and as independent
